The Weekly Reset: 5 Steps to Plan Your Week With God
The Weekly Rhythm Reset:
A New Way to Plan Your Life
What if planning your week wasn't overwhelming, but grounding? What if instead of reacting to your calendar, you led with purpose?
Enter the Weekly Rhythm Reset: a simple framework to bring peace and purpose into your week.
I've been doing this for a few years now, without even realising it was a "system." Now it takes me about 30 minutes once a week and saves me hours in return.
The Full mini course has JUST LAUNCHED and is availbale HERE with an intro dicscount.
But for now, here are the five rhythms:
Step 1: Reset
Before opening your calendar, take a moment to bring the week to God. You don’t have to arrive feeling peaceful or have the right words.
Try this: “God, help me notice what matters this week.”
Step 2: Release
Write down the tasks, worries, appointments, and unfinished things you’re carrying. Don’t organise them yet.
Try this: Start a page with “What’s on my mind?” and write without editing.
Step 3: Refocus: choose what matters most.
Look at your list and decide what needs attention, what can wait, and where you need help. Writing something down doesn’t make it a commitment.
Try this: Identify one priority you want your plan to make room for.
Step 4: Realign: plan with rhythm, not rigidity.
Start with fixed commitments, then give your priorities a realistic place around them. Consider your energy and leave some breathing room.
Try this: Put that one priority into your calendar—and check whether it genuinely fits.
Step 5: Renew: Shift your perspective.
Look over your plan. Does it reflect what matters? Is it realistic? What needs adjusting before you begin?
Try this: Pray over the week and remind yourself that you can return to this rhythm when plans change.
